Chris Keefe - Edward Jones Financial Advisor

I am a Financial Advisor because I am passionate about two things: finance and helping others.

Through my work, I enable Nova Scotian business owners, professionals, and executives ready for retirement to maintain control of their financial future so they can stop worrying and enjoy life's next chapter.

To do this, I provide a customized full-service approach to preparing for retirement based on an established five-step process. As a client, you'll enjoy monthly touchpoints to ensure your unique strategy is moving forward and to ensure peace of mind as you begin the next phase of your life, retirement.

My process takes us beyond the financial and into the other pillars that make for a meaningful retirement: health, family, and purpose. I also incorporate estate, wealth transfer and charitable-giving strategies, offering a "concierge" experience in your personal finances through a partnership intended to last 30+ years and built around monthly contact.

My background is in mathematics and investments. Through math, I've been a tutor, a researcher and lecturer. In 2017, I completed my MSc. (Mathematics). I then worked in Equity Research, publishing recommendations on stocks listed on the Canadian exchange. This combination affords me a holistic approach to my work, coupling strategies with well-rounded portfolios.

I spend my free time with my wife, Haleigh, and our infant son, Malcolm. My wife and I grew up in Nova Scotia and enjoy being active in our community. We enjoy spending time outside and swimming – something to which young Malcolm has taken a fast liking. I also enjoy Golf in the summer and Squash in the winter. I am an avid reader and appreciate recommendations. I'm an active member of BNI, the Halifax Chamber of Commerce and Ashburn Golf Club.
