Lahave River Campground

The LaHave River Campground is a family-owned-and-operated private campground on Nova Scotia’s beautiful South Shore. At the heart of LaHave is our warm, welcoming community and the +110 family friendly events that we run each camping season!

We cater to every style of camping at the LaHave between our unserviced tent sites, serviced campsites, tiny cabin rentals, and rental trailers. There is no shortage of activities to keep the whole family having fun between our dock and swimming holes, playground and dog run, horseshoe pits and washer toss, pool table and arcade machine, general store and community hall, and so much more!

For 5 years now we have owned the LaHave River Campground, and in that time our family has put all of the time, energy, resources, heart and soul into rebuilding this communal space. What once was a sleepy little campground is now attracting campers from all across Nova Scotia, and we could not be more proud to be nominated for the CommunityVotes Halifax 2026 favourite Campground & RV Park!
